Merlin Industries International Ltd has a number of different operating models depending on our client’s requirements. Here are some examples of how we work with our existing clients;
Client Direct
A client engages us directly to perform a task or service for them. Merlin Industries provides a quotation for the works. If agreeable the client provides a purchase order and the works are undertaken and the client is invoiced. On larger projects a formal contract can be provided.
This is our standard method of working for most domestic and commercial clients. Generally for a one off project at the client’s location.
General Sub Contractor
A formal contract is drawn up with our client to provide contract services on behalf of that client. This may be on a full-time basis, e.g. 3 month continuous contract where the client is invoiced at an agreed daily rate.
This type of arrangement is best suited to providing client with full or part-time resources on-site for a particular project. Or for providing staff coverage, due to annual leave , expansion or sickness etc.
Approved Sub contractor
A client approves Merlin Industries as a preferred supplier of goods or services. The client issues a tender document to all its approved contractors for quotation. If a quotation is accepted the works are undertaken for the client and the client is invoiced for the works upon completion.
This is the general method of working for large organisation, public utilities, MoD and Local Councils.
Preferred Sub Contractor
A formal contract is drawn up with our client to provide contract services on behalf of that client on an adhoc basis. The client will notify Merlin Industries of the work required and Merlin Industries will provide a quotation. If agreeable the client provides a purchase order and the works are undertaken and the client is invoiced.
This arrangement is best suited to small to medium sized clients who require the security of knowing an approved subcontractor is available to them to provide services on a needs basis as and when projects require, but do not wish to engage the sub contractor for a defined period of time. Often an agreed daily rate is agreed within the terms of the contract so the client knows exactly how much a project is likely to cost.
Merlin Industries International Ltd can provide clients with a number of tailor made contract documents and non disclosure agreements (NDA) to suit the clients requirements. Merlin Industries International Ltd can also sign any client provided contract or NDA’s if necessary.
Merlin Industries International Ltd is also please to offer MoD Security Cleared Contractors to selected clients if required on both Electrical and Telecommunications projects.
